| The report on the 2008 Digger-D2 flail and tiller trial is now available |
| During September - October 2008 the Digger D-2, with flail and tiller working tools, was submitted to a full assessment according to the CEN Workshop on Test and Evaluation of Demining Machines (CWA 15044:2004). The performance and survivability tests were carried out upon request of the manufacturer by the Swedish EOD and Demining Centre (SWEDEC) at the Norra Kulla test facility. A Pre-Trial Assessment (PTA) of the machine with flail only, had previously been carried out by Defence Research and Development Canada (ITEP Project 3.2.32). The test report provides details of the performance tests in sand, gravel and topsoil with mine targets buried at 0, 10 and 15 cm depth. It also includes the associated ground penetration depth measurements (fibreboard penetration profiles) and the results of the Anti-Tank mine survivability tests on the flail and tiller working tool.
