| 6-8 September 2010 | | Mine Action Technology Workshop 2010, Geneva, Switzerland | The Mine Action technology Workshop 2010, organised by UNMAS and GICHD will be held at the GICHD between the 6th and 8th of September. The aim of the meeting is to discuss technical issues relevant to landmine/ERW clearance. The workshop follows similar events held in 2006 and 2008 which brought together technology practitioners and specialists to share ideas and experiences.
The theme for the 2010 workshop is Merging Mine Action Technologies and Methodology. The agenda will be wide ranging and cover technologies and methodologies currently used operationally or technology that will be completed and fielded within the coming 12 months.
Topics for discussion and ideas for presentations should be submitted as soon as possible to either Christopher Clark at UNMAS or Erik Tollefsen at GICHD. The final agenda will be sent to all registered participants two weeks prior to the workshop.
